Hi! My name is Indiana Fillion, but you can call me Indy.

I was adopted from a shelter in April of 2012 and my human named me after Indiana Jones (because I love adventure) and Nathan Fillion (because she thinks I'm likeable and cute, like Nathan is).

I'm missing my left front fang, and I love to climb things and eat treats.

Around March of 2012 I found myself in a shelter in Southern Wisconsin. The details of how I got there are a secret to everyone but me… and I’m not telling. While I was in that shelter I had to have my front left incisor removed. I lived with a foster family for a little while and was then transferred to the Humane Society in Milwaukee. I was only there a short time when a lady named Kat came and decided to bring me to her house!

I’ve lived with Kat since April 17th and I am very happy here. She bought me a cat bungalow that I climb, and she keeps me stocked with fresh feathers on my favorite toy, my feather wand. She lets me explore and feeds me treats. She takes a lot of pictures of me, which is why she started this blog for me.

Thanks for checking me out and check back often for more of my adventures!

This is the first picture my human took of me when I got to her house. She let me in and I sniffed around, had some food, and then we played with my feather wand! I met her best friend, Kelly, who I like a lot. She belongs to another cat, Pandora, who I love so so so much! I just don’t think she loves me yet. But I will keep trying.

My first night I made sure to lay claim to the couch, so my human knew who was in charge. I laid on the arm of the couch and let her watch some TV. She pet me a lot and kept telling me she was happy to have me as her cat. Silly human - you don’t have me, *I* have *you*. She’ll learn.

After we cuddled and played some more she went in her bed. I got pretty lonely and still wanted to cuddle so I got her attention by laying across her pillow. I thought she might make me leave but she just laughed and took pictures and then she pet me for a long time.

Yes, I think I will like it here very much.

My second day in my new house was even better than the first. I got to explore Kelly’s bedroom. Her bed was very comfortable so I laid there for a while. She tried to get me to play but I was really just enjoying the sunlight; I didn’t get very much of that at the shelter, you know.

Then my human came in and gave me some cuddles, which I liked very much. She took a picture of me, too. She takes a lot of them; I’m not sure why yet.

Then they left and I had the house to myself, since Pandora stays in Kelly’s room while the humans are at work. Once the humans returned home, I got some new treats and my human played with me for almost an hour with my feather wand! I was pretty out of breath by the end so she made me stop. I was glad, though, because soon after I got very sleepy.

When I get sleepy I like to cuddle. I needed to let my human know this right away so I climbed onto her and sprawled out, staking my claim. I expected a bit of a fight but she just laughed and pet me and let me lay there for as long as I wanted.

She’s a very easy to train human; I like that.

My third day at home my human was late getting home from work. She and the other human came in with a HUGE box that looked like a very fun toy! They began pulling pieces out of it, all of which I inspected thoroughly, but none were as much fun as the box.

I watched from the comfort of the box while they assembled all of the small pieces and, to my delight, they said it was a cat condo for me! I was excited but, you have to understand how MUCH FUN this box was! So, I played with that for the rest of the night.

The next morning I was ready to explore my new condo. I climbed right up to the top, and it was so comfortable I decided to take a nap. Then my human had to come over and take a thousand pictures of me. Will she ever stop that?!

Oh, well. The cat condo is comfortable and as long as the flash is off I supposed I don’t mind her taking pictures of me.

  • Question: WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET? - tumblrbot
  • Answer:

I’ve heard of this place called the zoo, where apparently there are tons of birds with FEATHERS! I love feathers most of all so I think I’d like to go there.
